Investments in the Iranian agricultural sector booming
The Iranian agricultural sector is on the upswing. Sanctions lifted Iran’s 80 million strong market is now opening-up.
The participation at iran agro 2016 is growing tremendously. Together with its partner events iran food + bev tec and iran food + hospitality held simultaneously the number of exhibitors of these three events increases to more than 1,300 this year compared to 951 in 2015.
The 23rd International Trade Show Iran agro takes place on 30 May to 2 June 2016 at the Tehran International Fairgrounds. iran agro 2016 is supported by the Iranian Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture, Ministry of Industries and Business, TPO-Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and IIEC-Iran International Exhibitions Co. The organisers expect an audience of 30,000+ professionals with real buying power to attend the event.
The Iranian agro industry will profit from huge investments. Many new players will enter Iran‘s 80-million-strong, highly educated, consumption-savvy market for the first time.
According to the event’s organisers Palar Samaneh of Tehran and their German partners fairtrade this development also marks a new era for iran agro, Iran’s valuable agricultural event since its inception in the year 1994. As Iranian imports of agricultural equipment have already increased in 2014, this up-beat trend is expected to continue in the years to come.
